Harry Potter
Well, since we don't have any readings or class this week, I thought I'd post about Harry Potter (I'm re-reading the Oder of the Phoenix right now). How do you guys think the last one will turn out? Is Dumbledore really dead? Is Snape really bad? Who is R.A.B (I think those were the initials)? and so on...

Hmm, I don't have any theories as of yet. I'm trying to just wait and not talk about it. July is simply too far away. I'm thinking that this will be a very interesting book, but I think JK Rowling will do something on the order of finishing the harry potter series and start another series about Harry as he's older, fighting the forces of evil, etc.
You know, there's a whole book published on the rumors/guesses of what book seven is going to be...I think that's impressive. A book published about what could be in a book about to be published.

I think that both Harry and Voldemort will die. Sad.
Also, R.A.B....isn't there a Regulus (or something like that) Black? I'm pretty sure it is a Black.

One thing I've always wondered about is the pictures in Harry Potter. The portraits can interact with people, and I thought maybe the portrait of Dumbledore in the headmater's office might provide some sort of help for Harry in the next book. I don't really remember the rules for the portraits, or if they are ever clearly defined in the earlier books. Anyone know anything about that?
And I agree about Regalus Black being RAB, Elizabeth.

I think that Draco will almost be eaten by something strange, Harry will save him, Harry will find that he has part of Voldemort's soul within him, and that at least one of Harry's parents will turn up alive but will die again, taking Lord Voldemort with them. Craziness, I know. I have only read the first book, so I advise not to listen to me, haha.
i think:
1) Dumbledore is dead (but I think Zach has a point about the portraits, and picture Dumbledore will play a role)
2) R.A.B. is Regulus Black, I hope I am wrong, because I want to be surprised, but as I reread the novels his name sure does pop up alot for no reason
3) Harry and Voldemort are both going down, but as long as Ron and Hermione finally get together it will be ok, I mean, the tension between those two is ridiculous!
4) This july is going to be awesome.
Here's a question:
How will Harry interact with Sirius again, because from the way Luna was talking at the end of OOTP...it seems like maybe the mystery of the veil will be solved as well
