Also, a plug

I forgot my essential advertising role, and since we have no more classes left...

Everyone buy a copy of Marr's Field Journal. It's amazing. You know you want to. $10, Morgan Hall, this week.

Okay, you may now return to your lives.

It's the university's undergraduate literary magazine. Students submit poetry, short prose, and artwork (though we do get the occassional essay, play, song, etc.) and we publish them. This year, we got some really interesting poetry, though I'm not so sure what ended up in the prose section.

Also, if you guys feel creative next semester, please do submit.

Tara, tell 'em how they can buy issues if they missed the Morgan Hall event (assuming you aren't sold out), and where they can get more information on submissions.

I don't know that we'll be selling them after dead week, but I'm pretty sure we had issues left over. If you really want one right now, you can drop by the Office of Student Media, but otherwise, we'll be selling them next semester at Get on Board Day and again as back-issues (for only $4) when we put out the new issue.

As far as submissions go, we'll be putting up posters next fall. It's usually by e-mail, but we have a new editor, and I don't know if she'll want to keep it that way (though I doubt she'd change it). I think all of our info should be on the website, www.osm.ua.edu/mfj/index.
